It would be nice if all new registered users are able to upload a profile pic to their user accounts. And if there is a possibility of activating accounts automatically without sending any email for verifying. I know verification is needed for security purposes but people using a free server seldom have this option active. Even if they have, its like 1 mail per hour or 5 mails per day. And if this limit exceeds then their accounts are hung!!
