Maybe my stupidity will save some time for someone else. I couldn't figure out why "pages" and "news" weren't working on my install today. Finally (derp) I noticed the little orange icon on the plugins list by "zenpage," clicked on it to read that they don't work with the default theme. I chose another theme, and that fixed it.

I have been having an issue with some images not been seen in the Gallery. I tried clearing the database and made sure that the images all jpg have been named correctly. When I look on the server I can see that all the original images have been uploaded correctly into their appropriate albums. But when I look into gallery/cache some image sizes are clearly missing. All thumb nail images appear correctly. Its when you click on the some thumb nail images that the new image appears not to show, but some do display. Also the server is showing several unnamed files, which I am told are sym links.
Zenphoto version 1.4.12 [c1d7e8900b] (Official build)
Can anyone suggest what the issue might be?

Lately, Google has begun penalizing sites for not offering mobile-friendly versions, so I want to use the same photo files and database, but with a installation of the mobile theme in a subdomain and the regular desktop theme in the root domain.
Which files contain path definitions that I will need to edit? I would welcome suggestions.

Hey guys i have made an app for Piwigo gallery that help users to post photos from gallery into other software like Worpress or various forums types. http://piwigo.org/ext/extension_view.php?eid=835
I want to make something similar for Zenphoto.
But i have some problems
1) Current api seem unsupported by it's original autor. Both Piwigo and Menalto Gallery 3 have api that are officially supported and documented. Please support your Zenphoto REST api officially. They are some bugs some incomplete stuff, and there is no documentation for it.
2) Is possible to make the derivative file names not contain the size in pixels? Because having that number in the filename easily will broke any links to the thumbnail and websize in the future.
For example if a software like mine generate a bbcode like this for a forum software:
[url=http://site.com/cache/someuser/filename_595.jpg][img]http://site.com/cache/someuser/filename_150_cw150_ch150_thumb.jpg[/img][/url]
If the user change the size of the thumbnails or websize then the original link embeded in other software can be broken.
Piwigo dont have that size included in the filenames. They use something like this
filename-sq.jpg (square thumbnail)
filename-th.jpg (small thumbnail)
filename-me.jpg (websize thumbnail)
filename.jpg (original filename)
When user change the size option in his options panel he is not broking the past links.

I've been using Zenphoto a few years, and Apache 2 longer, though I am not a network/WWW/IT professional, only a computer scientist in other areas. The instructions to use Apache 2 mod_rewrite are pretty vague/incomplete. Are there any detailed/complete instructions? I run my own server, so I'm not paying someone to set up mod_rewrite details in .htaccess, rather than httpd.conf, that haven't been specified in the instructions or perhaps older forum posts... but if there's a sufficient explanation, I have no problem doing so.

I am about to launch a website where my users should be able to see the pictures of the last event they visited.
In order to make it as easy for the users as possible, i would like to modify the gallery logon box:
Only be able to enter a password. (No recovery Link, No username)
Today I use the gallery with no username and only password and it works fine. But I dont want to explain to everyone that there is no need to fill the username.
I found the "function printLoginForm" in lib-auth.php but I cannot figure out how to use the "if ($showUserField)" in Line 871.
Any help?
I also want to give a QR-Code and Link to the guests, is there a way to create a link to the album also containing the password already?
Something like mydomain.com/zenphoto/Event001/?="password"

I noticed something a bit annoying.
Every time I upload an image (using Images (jQuery) into an album, the Display images by: is always set to : ID (descending).
I do not know why as a set ... [Options / Image / Sort images by] : Filename.
Is there a way to fix this ? Am I missing something ?

I have recently found ZenPhoto and have successfully installed it to display my 11000+ image library. Unfortunately few of my images have titles and no have tags I can use. I have looked at the existing way of adding titles and tags and it seems a bit long winded.
Having experimented with the Comments plugin, would it be possible to create a 'Title/Tags' plugin that allows a logged in user (ie admin or other nominated user) to add titles and tags whilst viewing the normal Gallery items in much the same way as Comments can be added ? This would give the ability to see a large or full screen image and add the necessary metadata as you work your way through the gallery.

After updating to the last version, I have noticed that the Google Maps API is unresponsive on iOS Safari (or any other browser); maps are displayed as static pictures. However, it is working properly on a PC browser.
Has anyone noticed the same? I am using the Libratus theme, but I guess this theme is not causing any issues as it is working perfectly on a PC.
